No Homework Policy for Classes I & II

This is clearly stated for all the stakeholders that we do follow all the instructions given by CBSE in respect to school education. For ready reference vide the following circular of CBSE. In compliance of the directions of the Hon'ble High Court of Madras vide Wp No.25680/ 2017 and WMP No.9267/2018 dated May 29,2017, it is once again reiterated that the our schools ensures that the our schools ensures that no homework is given in classes I-II. Further as per directions of Hon'ble High Court of Madras, it is also reiterated that since NCERT is academic authority for classes I-VIII, we ensure that CBSE circular No.21/2007 dated April 17,2007 on reducing the bag load and homework on children is scrupulously followed.

The following procedure is followed for the cause of the above said subject.

  1. Less number of books.

  2. Alternate timetable of different subjects.

  3. Keeping books safe in school lockers.

  4. Play-way methods of teaching and learning.

  5. Classroom activities are more focused.

  6. Use of ICT in school for teaching.

  7. Self-based activities are practiced.

  8. Group activities are exercised in school itself.

  9. Practical problems are given for better understanding of the concepts.

  10. Rote learning practice is prohibited and critical thinking based practices are adopted.
