Investiture Ceremony - AGRAGA
“Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality”.
The school's most important ceremonial event, the Investiture Ceremony "AGRAGA," took place on August 5, 2022, on a Friday. This ceremony represents the school's confidence and faith in the new office bearers.
Mr. N. Krishnakumar, CEO of Akarsh Advertising, attended as the special guest. Along with Ms. Shalini Nair, Principal, and Ms. Asha Mary, Vice Principal, Mr. Tushar Kikani, Correspondent, and Mr. Pradeep Kikani, Trustee, were seated on the dais.
The distinguished guest's inspirational speech inspired the Student Council members to set an example for others and to carry out their duties with integrity as the future builders of their country. Additionally, he counselled the pupils to instil the virtues of punctuality, dedication, discipline, and resolve. The success story of Coimbatore's real-life heroes was as both a major source of motivation and a high point of his address.
The Correspondent, Mr. Tushar Kikani, praised them and warned them to perform their jobs with objectivity and integrity. He urged them to uphold their principles and leadership abilities. He emphasised that hardships enable one to reach heights and that with position comes responsibility toward oneself, their school, and classmates.
The Trustee, Mr. Pradeep Kikani, highlighted the qualities of a strong leader and provided staff members and kids with additional sporting opportunities. He made the connection between reading and leadership clear and convinced the kids that good leaders are ardent readers as well.
The principal, Ms. Shalini Nair, welcomed everyone and presented the special guest. She praised the elected officials and encouraged them to take on leadership roles. She used wise quotations from epics and wise sayings from legendary figures. She inspired them to be deserving role models by modelling behaviour and attitude entrusting our council members with the duty.
The oaths for the Head Boy and Head Girl, Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl, Junior Head Boy and Junior Head Girl, Sports, House Captains, and other prefects were administered by Ms. Shalini Nair, Principal, Ms. Asha Mary, Vice Principal, Ms. Booma, Coordinator, and Ms. Anusree, PE Department, respectively. They received badges in exchange. They take up the responsibility and promise to carry out their duties to the best of their abilities.
