The most auspicious ceremonial occasion of the school, Investiture Ceremony ‘AGRAGA’, was held on 05 August 2022, Friday with zest and enthusiasm. This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly office bearers.
The Special Guest Mr.N.Krishnakumar, CEO, Akarsh Advertising graced the occasion. Mr.Tushar Kikani, Correspondent and Mr.Pradeep Kikani, Trustee adorned the dais along with Ms.Shalini Nair, Principal and Ms.Asha Mary, Vice Principal.
A garland of motivational words by the esteemed guest guided the Student Council Members to be the role models and render their responsibilities sincerely as the nation builders of tomorrow. He also advised the students to inculcate the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline and determination. The success story of real life heroes of Coimbatore was a great inspiration and highlight of his speech.
Mr.Tushar Kikani, Correspondent, congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. He also exhorted them to uphold the values and leadership skills. He reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers and struggles help one to achieve heights.
Mr.Pradeep Kikani, Trustee, emphasized on the prominent traits of a leader and opened new opportunities for sports for the students and staff. He expressed the interrelation between reading and leading and persuaded students to be voracious readers to be excellent leaders.
Ms.Shalini Nair, Principal, introduced the chief guest and welcomed the gathering. She congratulated the elected members and kindled leadership skills in them. She quoted valuable examples from epics and the sayings of great leaders. She motivated them to be worthy role models by being exemplary in their disposition and demeanor.
Ms.Shalini Nair, Principal, Ms.Asha Mary, Vice Principal, Ms.Booma, Coordinator & Ms.Anusree, PE Department administered the oath for Head Boy & Head Girl, Vice Head Boy & Vice Head Girl, Junior Head Boy & Junior Head Girl and Sports, House Captains & other prefects respectively. They were conferred with badges. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities.
Ms.Asha Mary, Vice Principal, expressed the words of gratitude to each and every one who joined hands to make the event successful and congratulated the first student council of KGA a wonderful and majestic journey ahead.
