Celebrating Chocolate - a stress buster & mood lifter

The need to educate little children on the health benefits and joys of indulging in chocolates goes without saying. KGA celebrated World Chocolate Day in a scrumptious way on 07 July.

Children learned that chocolates are made of milk, cocoa powder, and sugar. They were also taught about the health benefits of eating chocolates but in moderation, as excess can cause tooth decay.

Students of classes KG to II brought their favorite chocolates and had a great time relishing them with their friends.

LKG made ‘Choco Jam Bread’ which they devoured in no time. They lovingly shared their chocolates as a token of love. UKG enjoyed making chocolate puppets. Tiny hands of Grade I made ‘memories with wrappers’ and decked up their class. The candy memory game by Grade II sharpened their memories and tickled their taste buds.

Students of class IV had experiential learning of fractions under the guidance of Ms.Booma. They made lip-smacking chocolates in different shapes and shared it as a whole, half and quarter. The measurement of ingredients threw more light on the concept.

It was a gleeful ‘chocolatey’ day!
