Chess Competition

Chess - Gymnasium of Mind

The game of life is chess. You must act if you want to succeed.

A chess competition within the school was held for students in classes VI through VIII to connect life and chess and to raise awareness of the 44th Chess Olympiad, which was held for the first time in Chennai, India.

There were three rounds of 20 minutes each, with about 19 students participating.

The lottery system was used to choose the teams. The ability of children to think ahead, which is crucial for navigating life, was wonderful to observe.

The competition was opened by Vice Principal Ms. Mary Asha, who wished the kids luck.

The principal, Ms. Shalini Nair, and vice principal, Ms. Mary Asha, spoke to the kids about chess and awarded prizes to the victors.

First place went to Kendra, second place went to Kumaran and Saiashwath, and third place went to Gurudeep, Divyadharshini, and Roudran.
