Gr 8 students of KGA had the privilege to participate in the UYIR CONNECT programme.
The students were accompanied by our Principal Ms. Shalini Nair, Activity Coordinator Ms. Preethi and our Admin Ms. Rezin Jezreel.
Our Correspondent, Mr.Tushar Kikani, honoured Mr. Lindner with a shawl as a mark of respect.
Our Principal Ms. Shalini Nair congratulated the students for their brilliant creativity.
Various schools participated and around nine schools presented their exhibits in alignment with the theme. The mime, on road safety, performed by the students was mind blowing.
The event was presided by Mr Walter J Lindner, the German Ambassador to India.
Our students exchanged greetings and had a brief interaction with Mr.Walter in German. The foreign language learning in the school removed the barriers of communication.
Dr Rajasekharan, Managing trustee of UYIR and Chairman, Ganga hospitals, addressed the audience on the road safety measures and precautions to be taken in order to prevent accidents on Indian roads.
Trustee, Mr.Pradeep, Mr.Neil Kikani and other dignitaries adorned the function with their presence.
