KGA partnering up with Save Soil - a Global Movement to invoke a conscious approach to soil and planet in all
This thoughtful program was initiated at KGA. The Isha foundation volunteers conducted an awareness program on soil degradation and how to advocate for healthy soil.
The highlight of the day was a dance on saving soil by the students from Grades 3 to 8. The students did the movements gracefully in their own style. It was coordinated by Keerthvasan of Grade 7 from Isha home school.
Ms. Shalini Nair, the Principal greeted the volunteers and children. She also expressed the importance of different saplings through a story that made the crowd curious about the trees.
When we plant a tree, we don’t just plant a sapling but hope for the future. The Planting of Saplings was inaugurated by Ms. Shalini Nair, the Principal along with the students and volunteers. Each grade planted a sapling along with the teachers. It was a day filled with happiness and emotions
KGA extends hands with Isha’s mission of saving soil. From Isha, Mr.Satheesh, Ms.Radha & Mas. Keerthivasan volunteered to ignite the urge in the children to save Mother Earth.
With the powerful experience and the great initiative, it made us realize that anything can be possible.
