Creating responsible Citizens - Know My World’s digital cross-cultural exchange program
We aim to create learning opportunities in which our students can achieve academic goals while developing a deeper understanding of social, emotional, and cultural competencies.
KGA’s partnership with Know My World’s digital cross-cultural exchange program provided opportunities for our students to connect with students abroad and the program focused on cultural understanding and global awareness.
On 26 April 2022, our students of Grade 5 connected with the students of Da-Feng Elementary School in Taiwan under the guidance of Ms. Srilakshmi Priya. Ms. Booma guided the students of Grade 3 to link with the kids of American School in Taichung. Ms.Uma mentored the students of Grade 6 to collaborate with the students of Daye Junior High School in Taiwan.
Kids asked questions and connected with foreigners to learn about each other, their communities. They enthusiastically answered the questions from the partnering school students. It was fun-filled learning. Excitement overflowed their hearts and happiness lingered everywhere.
Principal, Ms.Shalini Nair, connected with the foreign school students virtually and expressed her kind gesture of happiness in getting to meet them. She greeted the teachers and principals of those schools and wished them good luck.
