Youth Skills Day was celebrated in KGA on 15th July. An interactive session with Ms. Anushree, Physical Education Teacher, Ms. Uma Devi, Counselor, and Ms. Meenakshi Ramani, Art Teacher was organized for the students of Grade III to VIII.
Ms. Uma Devi gave clarity of thoughts to the children through a story. Ms. Meenakshi explained the importance of creativity and innovation through Origami art. Children were excited to see the different techniques she used to fold the paper. Ms. Anushree expressed the importance of self-confidence, a major skill, in a nutshell. She elucidated that sportive nature is a basic essence of life.
It was an interactive and informative session where students realized the importance of skills they need to possess to excel in life. They were intrigued to identify the real ‘YOU’ and self-motivate themselves.
