KGA going green with little Kikanians. Grade 8 conducted the assembly as they welcomed all the Kikanians to this fresh new academic year. They also treated the crowd with a jiggling dance and hilarious skit which also imprinted the necessity of planting trees in the minds of all the students. Birthday students were greeted.
Ms. Shalini Nair, Principal presented the different ways to save our planet, what we can do to help the environment, and how we can make a difference by being compassionate.
Class Representatives with their Class Teachers came forward and planted a sapling with their little hands and watered them with their love. They also talked about how they'll make this a habit and named each plant as they wish. They also made a pledge to take care of them as it was announced that the best plant will be receiving a prize as they grow. Each one Nurture one.
